Vine Customer Review of Free Product (What's this?) I admit it, I thought all min-fridges were the same. Tiny little compartment, noisy rattle, ugly as sin. But somehow Whynter has managed to buck the trends. First of all, this fridge has two doors - that is pretty great, since most mini-fridges I've encountered have a single door with a second door for the freezer. It does take up a little more room, but it also makes this fridge better looking and provides better freezing capacity and better temperature control. To add to the clever appearance, the outside is a glossy, clean black but Whynter includes a neon-blue dry erase marker so you can take your fridge from average to fun with drawings or just use your fridge as fun little memo-board.



Inside, the fridge compartment is cleverly laid out. There is a single glass shelf for food (which is a little difficult to see if the fridge is on the ground, since the freezer compartment extends above it) and a small little drawer compartment with glass shelf on top. That means there are two shelves with one drawer, essentially. The clever part is in the door, where there is a can rack that can hold about 9 cans and actually has access in two different areas, meaning that you can have two different soda/juice/beer flavors accessible at all times (rather than just stacking the cans up so that you can access the bottom flavor). It saves a ton of room - that many cans would take up an entire shelf. Then there is another rack that can hold a small milk carton or 2 liter bottle. The two door racks cover a range of liquid containers, which essentially leaves the shelves and drawers all for your food. Nice!



The freezer compartment is pretty roomy. I've packed a few boxes of treats in there or a 3 pound chicken and 2 bags of frozen veggies. Certainly enough for a small office, dorm or mother-in-law apartment. The fridge comes with a mini-ice cube tray (seriously, the ice cubes are tiny - so cute!) and an ice scraper.



The fridge has 6 temperature settings and it seems to maintain the temperature at which it is set quite nicely, and though it does make noise, it isn't nearly as loud as some mini fridges I have heard.



Overall, a fun, clean-looking appliance that also very cleverly designed.
